Education for Children

Our community center provides a welcoming and child-friendly environment where children from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds can learn and grow together. We offer bilingual learning opportunities, combining both academic support and Islamic values in an engaging playgroup setting. With dedicated teachers and a focus on inclusivity, we ensure every child feels valued and supported on their educational journey.

Curriculum

At our playgroup, we provide a comprehensive Islamic education for children beginning at the age of 4. Our curriculum is based on two sets of books for ages 5+ and 6+, which are also suitable for children as young as 4 due to their strong early learning progress. These books are prepared by qualified Islamic teachers (Alims and Alimahs), who are also trained pedagogues, ensuring that both educational and developmental needs are met.

We cover six core subjects in an interactive and engaging way:

  • Basic Fiqh (Ilm al-Hal): Practical knowledge for daily worship and Islamic practices

  • Seerah: The life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

  • Etiquettes (Adab & Sunnah): Good manners, respect, and daily prophetic practices

  • Hadith al-Sharif: Teachings and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

  • Core Concepts: Values such as love of Allah (SWT), patience, and respect for parents

  • Akhlaq (Character Education): Developing good morals, integrity, and responsibility

Children complete their playgroup education with us around the age of 8, leaving with both essential Islamic knowledge and strong character foundations.

A unique aspect of our playgroup is that it is run entirely by dedicated volunteer teachers. They devote their time, energy, and care purely out of love for nurturing children in the best possible way. With warmth and sincerity, they respect every child while surrounding them with affection and guidance. As a result, our children attend eagerly and joyfully, developing not only as students but also as confident, well-rounded young Muslims.
